A new week began with the prospect of celebrating the Independence of the United States on July 4, so amazing to taking part for the first time in US. Then see a summary of our activities for the week, this time focusing on Climate Change and Environmental Preservation. Two visits were made: • We visited The Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School, to see the Edible Schoolyard garden sustainable food [1] . This is an interesting initiative focused on sustainable development and the involvement of children and young people in the preservation of the environment. The Mission of the Edible Schoolyard is essentially to teach life skills and support academic learning through hands-on classes in a one-acre organic garden and kitchen classroom.
